Job Summary
XCEL Corp is hiring an Agile Scrum Master / Project Manager to facilitate Agile processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, remove project blockers, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, manage project timelines and risks, and promote continuous improvement through Agile and Scrum practices.
Key Responsibilities
– Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
– Coach teams on Agile and Scrum methodologies and best practices.
– Identify and remove impediments affecting sprint execution.
– Track sprint progress, team velocity, project milestones, and delivery timelines.
– Manage project scope, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
– Coordinate with developers, QA engineers, designers, and product teams.
– Communicate project status and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
– Maintain project documentation using Jira and Confluence.
– Monitor team performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
– Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality standards.
– Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills
– Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
– Knowledge of Scrum framework, Kanban, SDLC, and software delivery practices.
– Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
– Agile estimation techniques and user story management.
– Product backlog management and prioritisation.
– Sprint planning and release management.
– Project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
– Risk, issue, and dependency management.
– Stakeholder and client relationship management.
– Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
– Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
– Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
– B.E. candidates are eligible.
– 2–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager.
– Experience managing software development or product engineering projects from initiation through delivery.
– Strong understanding of Agile planning, backlog management, sprint execution, and project reporting.
Preferred Certifications
– Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
– PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
– Equivalent Agile or Scrum certifications.
