Job Summary

EBSL Automat is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Python / Odoo Developer with strong programming knowledge, PostgreSQL database expertise, and an interest in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and develop ERP solutions.

Experience in Odoo development and techno-functional implementation will be an added advantage.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining software applications using Python, PostgreSQL, and the Odoo framework to support organizational business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Python and Odoo Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python.

Develop and customize ERP applications using the Odoo framework.

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test software modules.

Follow software development methodologies and coding best practices.

Ensure modularity, scalability, and performance of applications.

2. Odoo Customization and Configuration

Customize and configure Odoo modules according to business requirements.

Understand business processes and translate them into functional ERP solutions.

Support Odoo module development, enhancements, and implementation.

Work with functional teams to identify system requirements.

Improve ERP workflows and application functionality.

3. PostgreSQL Database Development

Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.

Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data processing.

Ensure database performance, security, and integrity.

Support database troubleshooting and optimization.

Maintain database schemas and technical documentation.

4. Odoo Integration and Data Migration

Integrate Odoo applications with third-party software and external systems.

Support integration between ERP modules and business applications.

Perform data migration and data management activities.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability during data migration.

Troubleshoot application integration issues.

5. Software Testing and Code Quality

Conduct code reviews and implement improvements.

Identify, debug, and resolve application issues.

Ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.

Test software modules before deployment.

Maintain application reliability and performance.

6. Documentation and End-User Support

Prepare technical documentation for developed applications.

Maintain system architecture documentation and database schemas.

Document Odoo modules, configurations, and customizations.

Provide functional training and technical support to end-users.

Assist users in understanding new ERP modules and features.

7. User Feedback and Application Improvement

Gather and analyze feedback from ERP users.

Identify opportunities to improve application functionality.

Monitor user adoption of newly implemented modules.

Implement enhancements to improve usability and efficiency.

8. Continuous Learning and Team Collaboration

Stay updated with Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo technologies.

Learn new ERP concepts and business processes.

Participate in knowledge-sharing activities.

Collaborate with technical and functional teams.

Support team members through documentation and technical guidance.
