Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager – Java with 8+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, concurrent programming, Oracle, MySQL, AWS, and financial reporting systems. The selected candidate will lead a team of senior developers and engineers, design scalable reporting solutions, manage high-volume transaction data, and oversee the development of batch processing and automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership and Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of senior developers and software engineers.
Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to software development best practices.
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and scalability.
Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous technical improvement within the team.
2. Java Development and System Architecture
Design and develop scalable, high-performance Java applications.
Implement concurrent programming techniques to handle large volumes of transaction data.
Develop and optimize batch processing programs for efficient data management.
Ensure application reliability, maintainability, and performance.
3. Financial Reporting and Automation
Oversee the design, development, and delivery of financial reporting systems.
Develop and maintain automated reports for financial transactions and client insights.
Collaborate with finance teams to understand reporting requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports to stakeholders.
Implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
4. Database Management
Work extensively with Oracle and MySQL databases.
Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity.
Manage and process high-volume transaction records efficiently.
5. AWS Deployment and System Optimization
Deploy and manage Java applications in AWS environments.
Monitor and improve application performance and scalability.
Identify opportunities for system optimization and process automation.
Support reliable deployment and maintenance of reporting solutions.
6. Project Coordination and Collaboration
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
Act as the technical point of contact for reporting and automation projects.
Manage technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
Ensure projects follow established software development lifecycle practices.
