Job Summary

Wilco Source, a CitiusTech company, is looking for an experienced Java Developer (Java 6 + GWT) with 6–8 years of software development experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, Java 6, Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Oracle 12c, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP BW integration.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing user stories, preparing low-level designs, performing unit testing, maintaining code quality, and participating in Agile/Scrum development activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Java Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Core Java and Java 6.

Develop application components using Google Web Toolkit (GWT).

Implement user stories based on business and technical requirements.

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

Follow object-oriented programming principles and established coding standards.

2. Application Design and Architecture

Prepare low-level design (LLD) documentation.

Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and SOLID principles.

Implement appropriate software design patterns.

Follow coding best practices to ensure application scalability and maintainability.

3. Database and SAP Integration

Work with Oracle Database 12c for application data management.

Support application integration with SAP NetWeaver.

Work with SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW).

Develop and maintain SAP integration components.

Support REST API integration where required.

4. Unit Testing and Code Quality

Develop and execute unit test cases.

Ensure adequate code coverage for developed features.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects.

Maintain high coding standards and software quality.

5. Agile / Scrum Development

Participate in daily Scrum stand-up meetings.

Attend user story grooming and refinement sessions.

Contribute to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.

Participate in sprint demonstrations and other project discussions.

Collaborate with development teams to complete assigned user stories.

Experience integrating applications with SAP systems.

Exposure to REST API development or integration.

Practical experience in unit testing and maintaining code coverage.

Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

Ability to prepare low-level technical designs.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
