Job Summary

Adobe is seeking an experienced Lead Architect to drive the technical vision, architecture, product roadmap, and implementation strategy for ALM. The role involves designing and scaling high-performance SaaS services, leading engineering initiatives, improving application scalability and security, and mentoring developers while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, architectural vision, product roadmap, and implementation strategy for ALM.

Drive customer-centric engineering initiatives focused on application scalability, security, stability, and performance.

Develop and improve engineering and business processes to increase team efficiency.

Define use cases and design, develop, test, and deploy stable, scalable, cost-effective, and maintainable solutions.

Establish architectural best practices and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Mentor junior developers and support the technical growth of the team.

Deliver technical and domain presentations to demonstrate thought leadership.

Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into the product where appropriate.

Influence technical and non-technical stakeholders and lead initiatives independently in a changing environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of experience developing and scaling customer-focused SaaS services.

At least 4 years of experience in a Lead Architect role.

Strong experience building highly scalable, high-performance, highly available, and high-concurrency applications.

Hands-on experience setting up projects from scratch, including:

Technology stack selection

CI/CD pipeline implementation

Unit testing and integration testing infrastructure

Monitoring and observability

Secure architecture and cloud integration

In-depth expertise in:

Java

Spring and Tomcat

AWS cloud services

Relational databases (RDBMS)

NoSQL databases

Experience building real-time workflows and data pipelines using big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink.

Strong problem-solving, programming, and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to adapt to evolving priorities, work autonomously, and lead teams effectively.

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business functions.
