Job Summary

BrainCert is seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in PHP, WordPress, and Joomla CMS development. The ideal candidate should also have exposure to Android Studio for mobile application development and be comfortable working across web and mobile technologies. You will contribute to developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications, CMS platforms, and RESTful APIs while collaborating with frontend and mobile development teams.

Key Responsibilities
PHP & CMS Development
Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications.
Build and maintain CMS-driven applications using WordPress and Joomla.
Customize CMS themes, templates, plugins, and modules.
Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable backend components.
Database Management
Design, maintain, and optimize MySQL databases.
Improve database schema and query performance.
Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
API Development & Integration
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
Integrate backend services with web and mobile applications.
Support third-party API integrations.
Frontend Collaboration
Work closely with frontend developers using:
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
jQuery
AJAX
Ensure responsive and seamless user experiences.
Mobile Application Support
Support Android application development using Android Studio (Java/Kotlin).
Collaborate with mobile developers on application integration.
Exposure to Xcode (Swift) is an added advantage.
Code Quality & Maintenance
Participate in code reviews.
Debug and resolve application issues.
Optimize application performance.
Ensure application security, stability, and scalability.
Maintain and enhance existing systems.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with backend, frontend, and mobile teams.
Participate in technical discussions and sprint planning.
Learn and adopt new technologies as required.
