Job Summary
DXC Technology is hiring for an International Voice Technical Support role at the Analyst III level within Infrastructure Services. The position involves providing Level 1 technical support to global customers, resolving IT-related issues, and ensuring high-quality customer service through voice-based support channels.
The role is best suited for candidates with strong communication skills, basic technical troubleshooting knowledge, and experience in customer-facing IT support environments.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Issue Resolution
Provide Level 1 technical support to end users via voice support.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and application issues.
Diagnose technical problems and provide step-by-step solutions.
Escalate complex issues to higher support teams when required.
Customer Handling
Take ownership of customer-reported issues and ensure resolution.
Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
Follow up with customers to ensure complete issue resolution within SLA timelines.
Maintain a customer-first approach in all interactions.
Ticketing & Documentation
Log and track incidents using ticketing tools.
Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and case history.
Ensure proper documentation for future reference and analysis.
Required Qualifications
Education
10+2+3 (Any Stream – Regular Full-Time Course)
Diploma holders with equivalent qualification also eligible.
Experience
Freshers or candidates with experience in:
Technical Support Engineer
Desktop Support Engineer
IT Help Desk / Service Desk roles
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of computer systems and devices.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Knowledge of basic IT support processes.
Experience in working with escalation policies.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills (fluent spoken English required).
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Good interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
Ability to work in a team environment.
