Role Overview

Episode Six is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and manage cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and internal infrastructure tools for its global fintech platform.

The role focuses on automation, cloud operations, Kubernetes administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, and Python-based tooling development in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Platform Management
Develop, configure, and maintain infrastructure tools for:
Multiple PaaS instances
Kubernetes clusters
Cloud infrastructure
Linux and Windows servers
Manage cloud services such as:
RDS
Load Balancers
Networking
Storage systems
Kubernetes & Containerization
Support and administer Kubernetes environments
Manage containerized applications and deployments
Maintain cluster stability, scalability, and reliability
Development & Automation
Develop Python applications using Object-Oriented Programming techniques
Build and maintain RESTful APIs
Automate infrastructure and operational workflows
Work with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
Documentation & Support
Create and maintain internal and external technical documentation
Participate in on-call rotation schedules
Provide infrastructure troubleshooting and operational support
Travel occasionally for client or company events when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of Python development experience
3+ years using AWS Python SDK (Boto3)
3+ years of Kubernetes administration and Kubernetes Python SDK experience
2+ years of RESTful API development
3+ years supporting Linux-based Java applications
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
Kubernetes
Containerization
AWS cloud infrastructure
Linux systems
Experience with:
Terraform or similar IaC tools
Infrastructure troubleshooting
Cloud automation
Preferred Qualities
Strong problem-solving mindset
Attention to detail
Collaborative and growth-oriented attitude
Ability to work in fast-paced fintech environments
Willingness to learn and innovate continuously
