Job Overview

A company is hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business acquisition and strategic growth in the Events & Exhibitions industry. This role is focused entirely on new business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation. Digital marketing is not part of this position.

Experience Required
10+ years of total professional experience.
Minimum 8 years in the Events & Exhibitions industry.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Business Growth
Identify and acquire new business from:

Industry associations
Exhibition organizers
Generate qualified leads and convert them into high-value clients.
Understand client requirements and propose customized event and exhibition solutions.
Strategic Sales Development
Develop and execute business growth strategies.
Expand market presence and enter new industry segments.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Develop pricing strategies and prepare competitive proposals.
Industry-Specific Execution
Utilize expertise in:
Exhibition planning
Stall fabrication
Venue coordination
Vendor management
Permit processes
Exhibition timelines
Prepare proposals for:
B2B exhibitions
Conferences
Brand activations
Custom exhibition booths
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with internal teams including:
Design
Fabrication
Production
Client Servicing
Ensure timely project execution and client satisfaction.
Leadership
Mentor junior Business Development and Sales Executives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams.
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Reporting
Maintain CRM records for:

Present business reports to leadership.
