Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC/VMC Maintenance Engineer with strong expertise in Fanuc CNC systems, machine commissioning, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling CNC machine installations, diagnosing machine faults, supporting customers, and ensuring the reliable operation of CNC and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and servicing of CNC and VMC machines.
Prepare electrical circuit drawings for CNC machines.
Commission CNC machines and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
Edit and troubleshoot Fanuc Ladder Logic programs.
Diagnose and resolve faults in Fanuc CNC controllers and servo systems.
Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns in CNC machines.
Install and commission Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centres (VMC/HMC), including Japanese machines.
Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and pneumatic system issues.
Carry out preventive maintenance to improve machine reliability and uptime.
Conduct customer training after machine installation.
Manage Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) customers.
Prepare spare parts quotations based on customer requirements.
Maintain strong customer relationships through effective technical support.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machine maintenance.
Expertise in Fanuc CNC controllers, Fanuc Servo Systems, and Fanuc Ladder Editing.
Experience in CNC machine commissioning and troubleshooting.
Ability to prepare and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
Knowledge of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
Good customer handling and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and provide field service support.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience in CNC machine servicing, installation, and maintenance.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and industrial automation systems.
