Role Overview:
The Pipe Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion machinery used for manufacturing plastic pipes. The role requires ensuring consistent production output, product quality, and safe machine operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate pipe extrusion machines, including start-up, shutdown, and changeovers.
Monitor temperature, pressure, speed, and other extrusion parameters and make adjustments as required.
Load raw materials such as PVC and HDPE pellets into the extruder.
Inspect finished pipes for dimensions, thickness, surface finish, and overall quality.
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Record production output, machine settings, and material consumption.
Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Maintain cleanliness and organization around the machine and work area.
Coordinate with supervisors and the quality-control team regarding defects or production issues.
Assist in training junior operators/helpers when required.

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of plastic pipe extrusion processes and machinery.
Ability to understand technical drawings/product specifications.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge.
Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and handle materials.
Willingness to work in rotational/day/night shifts.
