Global Release Engineer / Manager
Job Summary

A leading MNC is hiring an experienced Global Release Engineer / Manager to drive enterprise-wide release management activities for AI-enabled applications and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Build & Release Management, DevOps practices, Azure DevOps, containerization, and stakeholder coordination across global teams.

This is a remote opportunity for immediate joiners with experience handling complex enterprise releases across platforms like SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.

Role: Global Release Engineer / Manager
Experience Required: 8+ Years
Work Mode: Remote (Temporary)
Location: Any NTT Data Location
Shift Timing: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
Notice Period: Immediate / ASAP Joiners Preferred
Key Responsibilities
Release Planning & Coordination
Plan and manage end-to-end release cycles across multiple environments and global teams.
Coordinate release schedules, dependencies, infrastructure updates, and defect backlogs.
Ensure release readiness through milestone reviews and Go-Live planning.
DevOps & Automation
Work closely with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Utilize Azure DevOps and Azure Containerization technologies for streamlined releases.
Collaborate with development teams responsible for automation tools and deployment workflows.
Stakeholder & Team Management
Communicate release timelines, risks, requirements, and progress with cross-functional stakeholders.
Coordinate with release managers and technical teams across different IT departments globally.
Lead CAB meetings and release review sessions.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
Identify and mitigate risks that may impact release quality, scope, or timelines.
Improve configuration management and release methodologies.
Maintain build/release documentation, dependency tracking, and deployment procedures.
Deployment & Production Support
Lead software deployment and Go-Live activities successfully.
Ensure proper allocation of Release Engineers for all planned releases.
Monitor release activities and provide weekly status updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
8+ years of relevant experience in Build & Release Management.
Strong hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies.
Experience handling global releases for:
SAP
Salesforce (SFDC)
ServiceNow
Strong exposure to:
Azure DevOps
Azure Containerization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
