Job Summary

A well-established and reputed medical college in Trichy is inviting applications for the position of Senior Resident – Biochemistry. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate medical students, reporting laboratory investigations, and supporting academic and laboratory activities within the Department of Biochemistry.

Key Responsibilities
Report and interpret various biochemical laboratory samples accurately.
Teach and mentor undergraduate (UG) medical students.
Conduct practical sessions in the biochemistry laboratory.
Participate in departmental academic activities, seminars, and discussions.
Maintain laboratory quality standards and follow institutional protocols.
Collaborate with faculty members and healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines and institutional policies.
Support research and departmental development activities as required.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: MBBS with MD in Biochemistry.
Experience: As per NMC norms (0–1 year experience acceptable if eligible under NMC guidelines).
Gender: Male and Female candidates can apply.
Tamil-speaking doctors are preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of clinical biochemistry.
Ability to report and interpret all types of biochemical laboratory samples.
Teaching and mentoring skills for undergraduate students.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Teamwork and professional ethics.
Confidence in handling laboratory responsibilities.
