Job Description

Quality Controller – Apparel | Cult.fit
Experience: Minimum 5 years in apparel quality control
Preferred Background: Buying office / export house
Qualification: Degree in Textile, Apparel or Fashion Technology preferred
Industry: Apparel / Garments
Work: Factory/vendor locations; travel required

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-line, mid-line and final inspections at vendor/factory locations.
Verify products against buyer specifications, approved samples and global quality standards.
Monitor production and identify quality issues proactively.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
Follow up with vendors on corrective and preventive actions.
Inspect fabric and trims before production begins.
Coordinate with merchandising teams to resolve production issues.
Liaise with testing laboratories for fabric and garment testing.
Support vendor development through quality feedback and training.
Escalate critical quality issues to the QA Head/management.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing and finishing.
Knowledge of AQL, 4-Point System and other QC standards.
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to manufacturing/vendor locations.
Knowledge of knit garments is preferred.
Brand experience is an advantage.
Analytical and proactive approach to quality assurance.
