BPM Microsystems is a global leader in device programming systems serving the semiconductor and electronics industries. The Device Support Team develops programming support for Non-Volatile memory devices, enabling customers to program the latest semiconductor devices efficiently and reliably.
Job Summary
The Embedded Engineer (Device Support Engineer) will develop and maintain programming algorithms for Non-Volatile memory devices such as Flash memories and microcontrollers. The role requires expertise in embedded programming, hardware interfaces, communication protocols, debugging, and collaboration with QA, software, and technical support teams to deliver high-quality device support solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop programming algorithms for Non-Volatile memory devices.
Modify and enhance existing algorithms based on updated semiconductor specifications.
Analyze device support requests and determine technical feasibility.
Identify electrical and software requirements for supporting new devices.
Design and release Socket Module adapter boards.
Evaluate requests for supporting new semiconductor devices.
Apply standard engineering practices and leverage AI tools for research, coding, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute testing requirements.
Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless device integration.
Support Technical Support teams by resolving customer issues related to device programming.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software defects reported by QA or customers.
Build and maintain strong technical relationships with semiconductor manufacturers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
