Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement automation systems for water-treatment projects.
Develop and integrate SCADA, PLC, HMI, control systems, and instrumentation.
Collaborate with project teams to develop solutions according to specifications and client requirements.
Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
Perform internal SFAT for automation programs.
Develop control strategies and automation architectures.
Integrate automation systems with other project components.
Commission PLC systems on-site with electrical commissioning engineers.
Implement automation code changes under change-control procedures.
Investigate automation issues and provide technical support to process and other engineering teams.
Follow site engineering and maintenance SOPs.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project delivery.
Prepare automation-system documentation and SOPs.
Support the tendering team with hardware specifications and programming-time estimates.
Manage automation project specification, development, installation, and validation within budget and company guidelines.
