Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer (TAE) to join Agile/Scrum-based development teams responsible for delivering high-quality software in a CI/CD environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Selenium automation with Java, API automation, framework design, and CI/CD integration.

The candidate will work closely with developers, stakeholders, and QA teams to ensure scalable automation coverage and quality delivery across the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Contribute to test strategy, quality metrics, reporting, and automation coverage
Design, develop, and maintain reusable and scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java
Deliver test criteria and test approaches for refined user stories
Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to explain testing strategies
Drive automation adoption within Scrum teams and ensure adequate test coverage
Support manual testing activities and test scenario setup where required
Support stakeholders during acceptance testing phases
Maintain framework documentation, setup guides, and onboarding materials
Mentor team members on automation best practices and framework usage
Required Skills & Expertise
Minimum 8 years of IT experience
4+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG
Strong experience in automation framework design and implementation
Experience in cross-browser testing, parallel execution, and CI/CD integration
Expertise in API Testing using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, JIRA
Experience with reporting tools such as ExtentReports or Allure
Strong understanding of code modularity, reusability, and automation best practices
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills
AI-integrated automation frameworks with self-healing capabilities
Mobile automation testing using Appium
Knowledge of JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols
