Key Responsibilities
Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms.
Perform incident triage, investigation, and initial response.
Analyze logs from:
Firewalls
IDS/IPS
EDR/XDR
Syslogs
Network devices
Escalate incidents as per SOP.
Conduct threat and vulnerability analysis.
Apply security patches and configuration changes.
Prepare SOC dashboards, reports, and incident summaries.
Participate in change management and configuration management (CMDB).
Identify automation opportunities to improve SOC operations.
Work with internal teams and customers to resolve security incidents.
Required Skills
2–4 years of SOC experience.
Hands-on experience with:
SIEM
EDR
XDR
MDR
Knowledge of:
Networking
Windows/Linux operating systems
Firewall technologies
IDS/IPS
Incident Response
Vulnerability Management
Ability to analyze security logs and identify threats.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Basic understanding of project management and customer support.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
Preferred Certifications
CompTIA Security+
CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
Understanding of ITIL processes is an advantage.
