Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze security alerts/logs
Perform incident triage
Investigate, document and report security incidents
Resolve incidents according to SOPs
Determine remediation and escalation paths
Analyze firewall, NIDS, HIDS and system logs
Prepare daily/monthly SOC reports and dashboards
Identify automation opportunities
Patch and security management
Configuration/CMDB management
Participate in security/customer projects
Support change and implementation activities
Work with global teams and customers

Additional requirements

Networking and operating-system knowledge
ITIL understanding
Customer/vendor management basics
Good verbal and written communication
Security+ / CEH certifications are advantageous
