Job Summary

ClickHouse is seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled Technical Support Engineer to join its global Support Engineering team. The role involves supporting customers across India, APJ, and EMEA regions through technical troubleshooting, customer engagement, and collaboration with internal engineering and product teams.

This is a hands-on customer-facing role requiring expertise in databases, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support to ClickHouse users and customers via tickets, chat, Slack, calls, and virtual meetings.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ClickHouse Cloud and open-source deployments.
Deliver timely responses and support within defined SLAs.
Participate in shared on-call support rotations.
Technical Solutions & Knowledge Sharing
Develop reusable solutions, documentation, blogs, and knowledge-base articles.
Support customer Proof of Concepts (POCs) with technical expertise.
Conduct technical enablement through webinars, training, and community engagement.
Assist in mentoring and knowledge sharing across teams.
Collaboration
Work closely with Support Services, Engineering, Product Management, and Go-To-Market teams.
Contribute feedback and improvements to support processes and product functionality.
Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Additional Requirements
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Ability to work remotely with reliable internet connectivity.
Comfortable working in a global distributed support environment.
Self-driven mindset with willingness to learn continuously.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
Hands-on experience with ClickHouse.
Exposure to open-source technologies and OSS communities.
Experience with cloud platforms:

Work Schedule
Remote work from Bengaluru area preferred.
Availability required during:
11:30 AM – 8:30 PM IST
Monday to Friday
Participation in weekly/weekend on-call rotations.
