Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office per week)
Notice Period: Immediate to 2 weeks
Job Summary
Xebia is looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in Cloud Security and Observability to design, build, secure, and scale resilient cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and observability tools to ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Terraform modules for multi-environment cloud deployments.
Implement DevSecOps practices and strengthen cloud security posture.
Deploy, configure, and manage observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, and OpenTelemetry.
Automate infrastructure deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows.
Collaborate with development teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response activities.
Conduct post-mortem reviews and implement preventive measures.
Perform capacity planning, system monitoring, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Optimize cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Strong experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
Expertise in Terraform and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages.
Hands-on experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and telemetry frameworks.
Strong understanding of scalable DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Preferred Certifications
AWS or Azure cloud certifications.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
