IT Operations Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Job Summary

The IT Operations Engineer will support Software Engineering and Development Teams by managing and maintaining Test and Development environments. This role involves providing day-to-day operational support, implementing infrastructure improvements, standardizing engineering environments, and participating in corporate infrastructure projects.

The engineer will also support global infrastructure operations as part of a Follow-the-Sun support model.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Administration
Manage Windows and Linux server environments.
Administer virtualization platforms including:
VMware
Hyper-V
Xen Orchestra
Configure and maintain physical servers.
Perform hardware and storage capacity planning.
Active Directory Administration
User and Group Management
Trust Management
Active Directory Replication
AD Health Monitoring
Windows & Linux Engineering
Design server build standards.
Install and configure applications.
Develop operating system standards.
Implement infrastructure automation where applicable.
Network Services
DNS Management
DHCP Management
PKI Certificate Management
Create and renew Certificate Signing Requests (CSR).
Database & Development Support
Install and support RDBMS platforms.
Support development environments including:
Microsoft Visual Studio
MSDN
Microsoft Azure
Infrastructure Design
Design and implement:
Data center infrastructure
Storage solutions
Testing and Lab environments
Integration with Flexera One platform
Operations Support
Handle daily infrastructure support requests.
Troubleshoot system issues.
