About the Role
Turpinas Energy is looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to expand its client base and accelerate growth in the renewable energy sector. The role focuses on B2B lead generation, client acquisition, sales, and closing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies for renewable energy solutions.
Conduct market research to identify target industries, segments, and potential clients.
Build and maintain a qualified lead database.
Develop a strong sales funnel through:
Cold calling
Networking
Referrals
Other lead-generation channels
Build relationships with agencies, vendors, partners, and clients.
Present renewable energy solutions, value propositions, and benefits to key decision-makers.
Follow up with prospects and handle objections effectively.
Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting → proposal → negotiation → PPA closure.
Negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Monitor renewable-energy industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
Candidate Requirements
BE/B.Tech, preferably in:
Electrical Engineering
Power Engineering
Energy-related fields
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Renewable Energy sector.
Business Development experience preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Willingness to travel within India.
