Senior SAP MM Consultant

Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) and manufacturing supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP MM implementations, support, and optimization projects, along with deep functional knowledge of procurement, inventory management, valuation, and cross-functional integrations.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to design, implement, and support efficient procurement and inventory management solutions in SAP, preferably within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities
SAP MM Implementation & Support
Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
Configure SAP MM functionalities based on business and operational needs.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Procurement & Inventory Management
Configure and support procurement processes for direct and indirect materials.
Manage purchasing cycles including requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and vendor management.
Optimize inventory management and stock control processes.
Ensure accurate material valuation and inventory accounting procedures.
Configuration & Process Optimization
Configure release strategies and approval workflows.
Manage pricing procedures and procurement-related tax configurations.
Support GST-related processes and compliance requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Integration Management
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with:
SAP Production Planning (PP)
SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
SAP Warehouse Management (WM)
SAP Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO)
Support end-to-end business process integration across the SAP landscape.
Documentation & Stakeholder Management
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and user training programs.
Collaborate with business users to provide functional guidance and best practices.
Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Required Qualifications
Experience
8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM).
Minimum 2–3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
Experience in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
