Job Summary

A well-established multispecialty hospital in Thoothukudi is looking for a Consultant Paediatrician to join its clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric care, manage outpatient and inpatient services, and handle pediatric emergencies while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat infants, children, and adolescents with various medical conditions.
Conduct pediatric outpatient (OPD) consultations.
Manage pediatric inpatient (IP) cases.
Assess and treat pediatric emergencies promptly.
Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as required.
Counsel parents and guardians regarding child health, nutrition, vaccination, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and medical ethics.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
MBBS
MD (Paediatrics) / DNB (Paediatrics) / DCH
Experience: 0–2 years.
Gender: Male/Female Doctors.
Language: Tamil-speaking doctors preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine.
Ability to manage pediatric OPD and inpatient services.
Experience in handling pediatric emergencies.
Excellent clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
Effective communication and counseling abilities.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
