Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, release management, and Linux administration. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation, scripting, cloud platforms, and DevOps best practices to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application deployments.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Configuration Management, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and Release Management processes.
Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and infrastructure performance.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.
Manage Linux servers and system administration tasks.
Implement deployment strategies, code updates, patches, and production releases.
Ensure infrastructure security, availability, scalability, and compliance with best practices.
Document deployment processes, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
Minimum 7+ years of experience in:
DevOps Engineering
Linux Administration
Configuration Management
Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Release Management
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of DevOps tools such as:
Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps
Docker
Kubernetes
Ansible / Terraform (preferred)
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on scripting experience in at least one of:
Python
Java
Perl
Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
Understanding of networking, security, and container orchestration.
Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) are an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
