HR Manager – People Operations & Talent Management

Company: Vanan Online Services Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Remote – Tamil Nadu (Chennai preferred)
Experience: 5+ years

Work Model: Remote, with occasional office visits and potential future WFO

Role Summary

Responsible for leading end-to-end HR operations, with a strong focus on recruitment, people management, HR processes, compliance and employee engagement across India and US teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for:
Digital Marketing
India & US Sales
Customer Support
Production/Execution
Content Writing
Developer/CRM hiring
Leadership and managerial roles
Manage freelance HR partners and junior HR professionals
Identify recruitment bottlenecks and improve hiring workflows
Conduct performance-management cycles and appraisals
Create and implement HR policies, SOPs and employee handbook
Handle PF, ESIC, statutory and labour-law compliance
Coordinate payroll activities
Manage employee grievances and conflict resolution
Lead employee engagement initiatives
Handle HR documentation, audits and HRMIS
Coordinate onboarding, exits and compliance documentation
Required Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR
BBA/MBA HR preferred, though strong experience can compensate
5+ years of core HR experience
Tamil – mandatory
English – excellent written and verbal communication
Experience with Zoho, BambooHR or similar HR tools
Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when required
Location Preference
Must be based in Tamil Nadu
Chennai candidates strongly preferred
