Role Overview

Own optimization of Lyzr’s content, knowledge sources and retrieval systems for AI-first search surfaces such as Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
Improve the visibility, accuracy, citation and conversion performance of Lyzr content across AI answer engines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AI-answer optimization strategies for Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini and other LLM platforms.
Create prompt templates, answer templates and canonical snippets.
Design and optimize RAG/retrieval pipelines, including:
Chunking and chunk size
Embeddings
Similarity thresholds
Hybrid retrieval
Optimize JSON-LD and structured data including FAQPage, QAPage and HowTo schemas.
Maintain canonical documentation, source mappings and authoritative answers.
Build evaluation metrics for:
Answer presence rate
Citation rate
Hallucination rate
Citation fidelity
LLM-driven conversions
Automate periodic evaluations across different model families.
Create SEO/LLM briefs, microcopy and concise canonical answers.
Train writers on answer-first content creation.
Collaborate with Product, Docs, Growth and Engineering teams.
Propose and execute a 90-day plan to establish scalable AI-search optimization.

Success Metrics

Increased Lyzr presence/citations across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Gemini.
Reduced hallucinations and citation errors.
Improved rankings, organic traffic and demo conversions.
At least one productionized RAG/LLM feature for documentation, product help or on-site search.
Target of 150–200 MQLs/month from generative search/answer engines within 6–12 months, subject to agreed attribution and conversion criteria.

Required Qualifications & Skills

3+ years of SEO, content operations or growth experience.
Hands-on SEO tooling experience.
Demonstrable experience optimizing content for LLM/AI-answer platforms.
Strong technical understanding of prompt engineering.
Knowledge of embeddings and retrieval technologies such as Pinecone/Weaviate.
Python and SQL for experiments, analysis and dashboards.
Experience with:
Ahrefs / SEMrush
Screaming Frog
Google Search Console
GA4
Excellent editorial judgment and ability to create concise, authoritative 1–3 sentence answers.
Ability to work with Product and Engineering teams on retrieval and schema changes.

Nice to Have

Lyzr, LangChain, LlamaIndex or other RAG framework experience.
JSON-LD optimization for answer engines/rich results.
Model evaluation and human-in-the-loop annotation experience.
Developer or enterprise content experience, particularly BFSI/SaaS.
