Position: Principal Applied Data Scientist – OCI Generative AI

Core Responsibilities

Design and deploy scalable GenAI and ML solutions for strategic customers.
Build LLM, Agent, and RAG solutions using large-scale OpenSearch clusters.
Configure OpenSearch and build data-ingestion pipelines.
Optimize AI model performance, scalability, latency, and serving.
Develop reusable GenAI solution patterns and reference architectures.
Work directly with customers, product managers, and ML engineering teams.
Troubleshoot AI model training and production-serving issues.
Mentor junior ML engineers and participate in external technical events.

PyTorch / JAX / TensorFlow
Cloud/IaaS/PaaS experience
KServe / Kubeflow / Triton is advantageous

Multimodal and computer vision
Semantic, conversational and multimodal search
LLM fine-tuning and multi-task serving
Strong research/publication record
Experience working directly with enterprise customers

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.

Best suited for: A senior/principal-level GenAI architect or applied scientist who combines ML expertise with production engineering, cloud architecture, search/vector infrastructure, and customer-facing solution design.
