Job Summary
Infineon is seeking an experienced (Senior) Manager – Functional Safety & Cyber Security Quality Management to ensure compliance with automotive functional safety and cybersecurity standards throughout the microcontroller product development lifecycle. The role focuses on quality management, audits, assessments, process compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to achieve the organization’s zero-defect quality objective.
The successful candidate will support both Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cyber Security (ISO 21434) initiatives while providing technical leadership and guidance across product development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Safety & Cyber Security Quality Management
Lead Cyber Security Quality Management activities.
Support Functional Safety Quality Management.
Ensure compliance with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards.
Drive quality improvements across product development.
Audits & Assessments
Act as an auditor and assessor for automotive products.
Conduct product audits and compliance assessments.
Verify adherence to applicable industry standards.
Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
Technical Guidance
Advise engineering teams on:
Functional safety concepts
Cyber security concepts
Provide expert guidance during product development.
Support implementation of safety and security best practices.
Process Compliance
Review project management plans.
Ensure compliance with:
ISO standards
Infineon development processes
Validate tailoring of product development processes.
Project Governance
Guide projects toward compliance.
Approve final conformity with safety and cybersecurity requirements.
Monitor project quality throughout development.
Safety & Security Case Development
Develop Safety Cases and Security Cases.
Consolidate findings from:
Audits
Assessments
Engineering activities
Support product certification and compliance documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Physics
Or a related engineering discipline
Experience
Manager
3–5 years of experience in Functional Safety.
Senior Manager
6+ years of experience in Functional Safety.
