Group Audit & Assurance (GA&A) serves as the Bank’s internal audit function, providing independent assurance over governance, risk management, and internal controls while supporting the organization in managing emerging risks.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager – Financial Crime & Fraud Audit to lead and deliver high-quality internal audits covering Financial Crime, Fraud, AML/CTF, Regulatory Compliance, Privacy, Conduct, and Legal Risk.
The successful candidate will provide independent assurance, identify key risks, deliver actionable audit insights, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to strengthen governance and risk management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit reviews in line with the annual audit plan.
Deliver independent, objective, and value-added audit services.
Provide assurance on Financial Crime, Fraud, AML/CTF, Regulatory Compliance, Privacy, Conduct, and Legal Risk frameworks.
Prepare high-quality audit reports with practical recommendations and commercial insights.
Support Group Audit Risk Committees and senior leadership with audit findings and risk assessments.
Guide and mentor audit team members on technical and audit methodology matters.
Assist in preparing training materials and upskilling initiatives within the audit function.
Perform ad hoc analysis and prepare reports for senior management.
Support Annual Operating Plans and Quarterly Business Review documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and audit automation.
Provide governance advice on strategic risks.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business units.
Ensure compliance with the organization’s Code of Conduct and audit standards.
Required Skills
Strong Financial Crime and Fraud Risk Management expertise.
Experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter Terrorism Financing) compliance.
Knowledge of Economic & Trade Sanctions regulations.
Understanding of Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) frameworks.
Knowledge of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing typologies.
Internal Audit and Risk Management expertise.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to summarize complex audit findings for senior leadership.
Process improvement and automation mindset.
Strong project management and planning skills.
Experience Required
Significant experience in:
Financial Crime Risk Management
Regulatory Compliance
Internal Audit
Risk Management
Previous experience in:
Large Financial Institutions, or
Professional Services firms specializing in Financial Crime or Regulatory Compliance.
Experience in audit testing and assurance functions is preferred.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in:
Accounting
Finance
Business
Or an equivalent discipline
Preferred Professional Certifications
CPA
CA
ICA
CIA
Or other internationally recognized auditing or accounting qualifications
