Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Maintenance to oversee plant maintenance operations and ensure maximum equipment reliability and production efficiency. The candidate will lead preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, manage maintenance documentation, coordinate with vendors, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Plant Maintenance
Handle all plant maintenance activities.
Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
Improve equipment reliability and plant availability.
Ensure machine efficiency and operational continuity.
Equipment Reliability
Monitor and improve:
MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)
MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
TPM calculations
Increase machine efficiency through systematic maintenance practices.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain maintenance documentation as per ISO standards.
Prepare machine history cards.
Maintain machine running hour records.
Conduct periodic inspections.
Ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
Team Management
Supervise maintenance shift operations.
Guide technicians and maintenance associates.
Conduct technical training sessions.
Improve team competency through knowledge sharing.
Equipment Monitoring
Perform A, B, C & D maintenance checklists for equipment.
Prepare electrical inspection checklists.
Monitor machine health and maintenance schedules.
Vendor Management
Coordinate with vendors for:
AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts)
New project implementation
Maintenance support
Spare Parts Management
Maintain inventory of critical spare parts.
Ensure spare availability to minimize downtime.
Installation & Projects
Install new machinery as per ISO standards.
Support plant expansion and maintenance projects.
Safety & Continuous Improvement
Follow workplace safety standards.
Implement WCM (World Class Manufacturing) tools.
Support production requirements through maintenance prioritization.
