Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Floral Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage flower orders, coordinate with the bouquet production team and delivery partners, maintain an attractive store display, and support the shop’s daily operations. Training will be provided to help you develop product knowledge and social media skills.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Welcome walk-in customers warmly and assist them in selecting suitable bouquets and floral arrangements.
Understand customer requirements and provide personalized recommendations.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Order Management
Receive and process telephonic and online orders.
Coordinate with the bouquet production team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
Store Operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop display.
Ensure flowers and floral products are properly arranged and presented.
Assist in stock monitoring and inventory management.
Vendor & Delivery Coordination
Coordinate with florists, suppliers, and delivery partners for smooth order execution.
Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer orders.
Administration & Reporting
Prepare daily billing and stock reports for management.
Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
Operate POS systems and support day-to-day shop administration.
Social Media Support
Assist in maintaining the shop’s social media presence.
Create and post regular updates on social media platforms.
Work with the social media expert to enhance online engagement and brand visibility.
Qualifications
Any Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
Basic computer knowledge is required.
Required Skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Good verbal communication and coordination abilities.
Basic computer proficiency.
Familiarity with POS systems and inventory tracking.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a retail environment.
Passion for flowers, bouquets, and customer satisfaction.
Basic knowledge of floral arrangements is an advantage (training will be provided).
