Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP FICO, particularly in the Controlling (CO) module, and mandatory exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in product costing, profitability analysis, financial integrations, and end-to-end implementation projects.

The consultant will play a critical role in designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing SAP Controlling solutions while collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
SAP Controlling (CO) Implementation & Support
Design, configure, and support SAP Controlling processes and solutions.
Participate in end-to-end SAP CO implementations and support engagements.
Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Conduct system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Product Costing & Profitability Analysis
Configure and support Product Costing processes.
Work extensively on:
Make-to-Order (MTO) Scenarios
Make-to-Stock (MTS) Scenarios
Material Ledger
Cost Component Structures
Implement and support Profitability Analysis (COPA) solutions.
Analyze manufacturing and cost management processes to improve operational efficiency.
Financial Accounting & Integration
Support integration between SAP CO and other SAP modules, including:
FI (Financial Accounting)
SD (Sales & Distribution)
MM (Materials Management)
HR (Human Resources)
Expertise in Financial Processes
General Ledger Accounting (GL)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Bank Accounting
Special Purpose Ledger (SPL)
Expertise in CO Components
Cost Element Accounting
Cost Center Accounting
Profit Center Accounting
Internal Orders
Product Costing
Profitability Analysis (COPA)
Material Ledger
Enterprise Structure & System Configuration
Configure General Settings and Enterprise Structure.
Support organizational structure design and optimization.
Ensure alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
Reporting & Analytics
Develop and support reports using:
Report Painter
Report Writer
SAP Query
Collaborate with BW/BI teams for reporting and analytics requirements.
Data Migration & Master Data
Support Master Data Management (MDM) activities.
Perform data migration using:
LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)
BDC (Batch Data Communication)
SAP Tools & Technologies
Work with SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN).
Support testing, documentation, monitoring, and change management activities.
Required Qualifications
Experience
Overall experience: Approximately 12 years.
SAP FICO experience: 9–10 years.
SAP CO experience: Minimum 5–6 years.
Minimum 2–3 end-to-end SAP CO implementations, preferably on SAP S/4HANA.
