🎯 Role Overview
The Factory Manager will be responsible for overall factory operations, production efficiency, shipment commitments, workforce management, quality, and profitability.
The candidate should have strong experience in knitted garment export manufacturing and proven leadership capabilities.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Ensure on-time shipment and production commitments
• Maintain overall factory efficiency and support company profitability
• Coordinate with planning, production, shipment, embellishment, and other departments
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline factory operations
• Monitor order forecasts, trims, accessories, fabric in-house dates, size sets, and pre-production meetings
• Control production inputs and outputs according to daily forecasts
• Conduct and coordinate pre-production meetings to identify and resolve issues
• Coordinate with QAM and clearance teams to ensure timely shipments
• Work with quality teams to reduce defects and improve product quality
• Prepare and submit regular production reports
• Inspect finished products to ensure required quality standards
• Negotiate with contractors and verify contractor bills
• Maintain shop-floor cleanliness, discipline, and operational standards
• Target 100% machine utilization
• Reduce manpower absenteeism and employee attrition
• Motivate workers and develop operator skills
• Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day factory operations
