Position: Kiln Design Engineer
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 10–15 Years
Qualification: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Chemical Industry / Furnace / Refractory

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Kiln Design Engineer with 10–15 years of relevant industry experience to lead and support kiln design engineering activities within the chemical, furnace and refractory sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Lead kiln design engineering activities from concept through detailed engineering.
Develop and review kiln designs based on project and process requirements.
Perform engineering calculations and ensure designs meet required technical and operational standards.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, production and project teams for successful project execution.
Review kiln components, equipment specifications and technical drawings.
Support selection and integration of suitable refractory materials and furnace systems.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to kiln performance, design and operation.
Review vendor drawings, technical documents and engineering deliverables.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering, safety and quality requirements.
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of kiln design, efficiency, reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications
B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering or
B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Required Experience
10–15 years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong experience in Kiln Design Engineering.
Industry exposure in one or more of the following areas:
Chemical Industry
Furnace Engineering
Refractory Industry
