Job Overview

Rela Institute & Medical Centre is seeking experienced and dedicated Nursing Professionals for its Liver Transplant Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate should possess strong critical care nursing skills and hands-on experience in managing liver transplant patients in an ICU setting.

This position offers an opportunity to work with a highly specialized transplant team in a leading multi-specialty healthcare institution.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to liver transplant patients in the ICU.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses.
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
Assist physicians during critical care procedures and emergency interventions.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Monitor post-transplant patients for complications and report abnormalities promptly.
Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Participate in shift handovers and continuity of patient care activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM)
B.Sc Nursing
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience.
Mandatory: Experience in Liver Transplant ICU.
Professional Requirements
Valid Nursing Registration (Mandatory).
Ability to work in rotational shifts.
