Key Responsibilities

Write SEO-focused:
Blog posts
Landing pages
Location pages
Follow content briefs provided by the SEO Lead.
Implement on-page SEO:
Keyword optimization
Search-intent matching
Internal linking
Headings
Meta titles and descriptions
Create GEO (Generative Engine Optimization / local-intent) content, including:
City and neighborhood pages
Service-area clusters
Localized FAQs
Map-embedded copy
NAP-aligned content
Use AI tools as a starting point and manually edit content for accuracy, originality and readability.
Fact-check content and cite credible sources.
Ensure content passes plagiarism and AI-detection checks.
Follow brand voice and style guidelines.
Collaborate through Google Docs or Notion using tracked edits.

Must-Have Skills

1–3 years of hands-on SEO writing experience.
Keyword-driven content outlining and SERP analysis.
Proven GEO/local SEO content experience.
Strong editing skills, particularly improving AI-generated drafts.
Experience with content briefs, calendars and revision cycles.
Google Docs
Grammarly
Surfer / Frase / Clearscope or similar
Basic Screaming Frog knowledge
Basic Google Search Console knowledge

Nice to Have

Multi-location business content experience.
Basic schema knowledge, including FAQ and LocalBusiness.
Ability to identify internal-linking opportunities and anchor-text variations.
Ability to prepare basic image prompts/briefs for designers.
