Job Summary

EEB Engineering Design and Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Production Engineer to lead shop floor operations and drive manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sheet metal fabrication, TIG/MIG welding, production planning, lean manufacturing, and team leadership. This role involves ensuring production efficiency, quality, safety, and timely project execution while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Operations
Lead and supervise daily shop floor production activities.
Plan, schedule, and prioritize manufacturing operations based on project and customer requirements.
Ensure production targets, delivery schedules, and quality objectives are achieved.
Monitor production performance and optimize workflow efficiency.
Manufacturing & Fabrication
Provide technical expertise in:
Sheet Metal Fabrication
Stainless Steel Fabrication
TIG Welding
MIG Welding
Assembly Operations
Surface Finishing Processes
Support manufacturing of prototypes and new product introductions.
Coordinate with the R&D team during product development and production transfer.
Resource Management
Optimize utilization of:
Manpower
Machines
Materials
Production Equipment
Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Quality & Process Improvement
Ensure compliance with:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Work Instructions
Quality Standards
Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams for:
In-process Inspection
Final Inspection
Process Validation
Monitor and analyze production KPIs including:
Productivity
Downtime
Rejections
Machine Utilization
Production Efficiency
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Lean Manufacturing & Safety
Drive implementation of:
Lean Manufacturing
5S
Kaizen
EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
Promote workplace safety and continuous improvement culture.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and train production personnel.
Develop employee skills in fabrication, welding techniques, quality, and safety practices.
Foster teamwork and continuous learning.
Documentation
Maintain production documentation for:
Traceability
Client Requirements
Internal Audits
Compliance Audits
Prepare production reports and performance analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience
4–7 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in:

TIG/MIG Welding
