Job Summary
Atria Power is looking for an experienced Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with a strong background in biomass power plant engineering. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, specification, procurement support, testing, and commissioning of biomass-based power plant systems, ensuring efficient and reliable plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design biomass-based power plant systems using sound engineering principles.
Develop conceptual and detailed engineering designs for:
Fuel handling systems
Biomass boilers
Auxiliary equipment
Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and Request for Quotations (RFQs) for procurement.
Evaluate vendor proposals and provide technical recommendations.
Participate in equipment testing, inspection, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
Verify system performance and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate with procurement, project execution, and commissioning teams.
Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and project records.
Monitor project schedules using MS Project.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Support troubleshooting and optimization of biomass power plant operations.
Required Qualifications
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Biomass Power Plants.
