Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Remote Support Engineer to provide technical support for desktop and laptop environments within a banking/enterprise infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of end-user computing systems while ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Desktop & Laptop Support
Install and configure desktops and laptops as per organizational standards.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues.
Provide remote support to end users and ensure timely issue resolution.
Operating System & Software Support
Support Windows Operating Systems and Office Automation (OA) applications.
Install, configure, and maintain approved software applications.
Troubleshoot application-related issues and coordinate with relevant support teams.
Network & Security Support
Resolve network connectivity issues.
Support antivirus deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Ensure endpoint security compliance.
Patch & Backup Management
Perform patch management activities as per defined policies.
Support backup management processes and ensure data protection standards are followed.
Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with OEMs, third-party vendors, and internal IT teams for issue resolution.
Escalate unresolved incidents and track them through closure.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and support activities.
Adhere to IT processes, policies, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
