Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable server-side applications using Python.
Work with Python frameworks such as Django and Flask.
Design and integrate RESTful web services with external systems.
Lead solution architecture and convert business requirements into technical requirements.
Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior team members.
Develop and manage backend features and database operations.
Manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Handle testing, unit tests, debugging and bug fixes.
Deploy solutions across test and production environments.
Prepare technical and architectural documentation.
Perform code profiling, prototyping and proof-of-concept development.
Troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
Present technical solutions and complex scenarios to leadership.
Own modules and features and provide technical guidance to the team.
Estimate story points for tasks, features and modules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

12+ years of Python development experience.
Strong algorithmic coding and data-structures knowledge.
Strong design-thinking skills.
Extensive REST API/web-service development experience.
Strong SQL or NoSQL database experience.
Solid Python development expertise.
Experience with Django and/or Flask.

Preferred Skills

2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
JavaScript and Node.js.
CI/CD experience.
REST API experience.
Pandas and NumPy.
