Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Storage Solutions Architect / Cloud Storage Specialist with deep expertise in systems architecture, distributed systems, virtualization, and storage technologies. This role involves designing, optimizing, and deploying scalable storage solutions while directly collaborating with enterprise customers to solve complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize storage solutions using:
AWS EBS
Azure Disk
iSCSI
NVMe
Utilize Terraform and infrastructure-as-code methodologies to automate deployments.
Assist customers in deploying and managing storage and compute resources in cloud environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage stack issues using advanced debugging and triaging techniques.
Diagnose and address scaling and performance challenges in distributed systems.
Provide architectural guidance for secure, reliable, and scalable storage environments.
Translate customer business requirements into robust technical storage solutions.
Clearly communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, and recommendations to customers.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to improve platform reliability and innovation.
Evaluate infrastructure and recommend improvements leveraging expertise in:
Distributed systems
Systems internals
Virtualization
Large-scale deployments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience with cloud and on-premises storage solutions.
Strong expertise in:
Systems architecture
Operating systems
Distributed systems
Virtualization technologies (KVM, Xen, VMware)
Expert knowledge of storage protocols:
iSCSI
NVMe
SCSI
Fibre Channel
Extensive experience with Terraform and cloud SDKs.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as:
Python
Go
C/C++
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and issue triaging skills.
Experience handling scaling challenges in distributed or cloud architectures.
Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing or operating large-scale distributed storage systems.
Familiarity with multi-cloud infrastructure and architecture patterns.
Cloud or storage-related certifications.
