Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PHP Technical Lead / Team Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), Core PHP development, solution design, and team leadership. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, client interaction, and the ability to manage mission-critical projects, preferably within the Telecom domain.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
Application Development
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Core PHP.
Build and optimize backend services and business logic.
Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Solution Architecture
Perform solution design based on business requirements.
Create scalable application architectures.
Participate in technical discussions and design reviews.
Implement best practices for software quality and maintainability.
Database Development
Design and optimize MySQL databases.
Perform data modeling and database schema design.
Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
API Development
Develop and integrate RESTful Web Services.
Work with JSON-based data exchange.
Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
Client & Project Management
Interact directly with US customers to gather requirements and deliver projects.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality.
Handle mission-critical customer projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Team Management
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing development teams.
Conduct team assessments and allocate project responsibilities.
Resolve team conflicts and provide technical guidance.
Drive continuous learning and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
5–8 years of professional PHP development experience.
Experience leading software development teams.
Experience working directly with US clients.
Telecom domain experience is highly preferred.
