Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to develop and maintain robust backend systems for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP frameworks, object-oriented programming, database design, API integration, and version control. You will work closely with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Analyze website and application requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using PHP.
Build reusable, efficient, and secure PHP modules.
Develop scalable backend architecture and business logic.
Database Management
Design and maintain centralized databases.
Optimize database performance and write efficient SQL queries.
Integrate SQL and NoSQL data storage solutions.
Ensure data integrity, security, and backup procedures.
API & Integration
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Respond to integration requests from frontend developers.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services where required.
Application Maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve application and code-related issues.
Perform application testing and debugging.
Update and enhance existing features to improve performance and reliability.
Ensure high application availability and scalability.
Collaboration & Project Delivery
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project teams.
Participate in project planning and technical discussions.
Manage assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain technical documentation and version control.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience
2–4 years of professional PHP development experience.
Experience working in an agency environment with multi-tier development teams is preferred.
