Job Summary

Rela Institute & Medical Centre is seeking qualified and experienced Hospital Pharmacists to join its pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing pharmacy operations, ensuring medication safety, and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Medication Management
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Ensure safe storage, handling, and distribution of medications.
Clinical Pharmacy Support
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
Provide medication-related information and guidance to healthcare staff and patients.
Monitor and report adverse drug reactions when necessary.
Inventory & Stock Control
Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
Monitor medicine expiry dates and implement stock rotation procedures.
Coordinate procurement and replenishment of pharmaceutical supplies.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and quality standards.
Follow medication safety and infection-control protocols.
Patient Care
Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
Promote safe and effective medication practices.
Address patient medication-related queries professionally.
