Job Overview

We are hiring experienced Network Support Engineers for a leading MNC in the IT Services and BPO Consulting domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in enterprise network troubleshooting, VMware technologies, and L2/L3 networking concepts.

As a Mid-Senior Level Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers using VMware by Broadcom products, diagnosing complex networking issues, and delivering effective technical solutions in a fast-paced support environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers via:
Telephone
Email
Zoom Sessions
Diagnose, reproduce, and resolve customer-reported technical issues.
Perform regular follow-ups with customers regarding issue updates and resolutions.
Escalate critical issues according to standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with internal technical teams and leverage knowledge bases and support tools.
Create and maintain knowledge base articles for future issue resolution.
Participate in technical discussions and training sessions to improve product expertise.
Troubleshoot networking and VMware-related issues across enterprise environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Certification
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification is required.
VMware Experience

Hands-on experience with:

VMware vSphere 6.x – 8.x
VMware ESXi 7
VMware vCenter
Networking Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

TCP
UDP
ARP
DHCP
ICMP
IPv4 / IPv6
VLAN Concepts
VLAN Tagging
Troubleshooting Skills

Ability to troubleshoot networking issues across:

Layer 2 to Layer 7

Hands-on experience with:

tcpdump
Wireshark
traceroute
route
netstat
Preferred Candidate Profile
Minimum 2+ years of enterprise technical support experience.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Excellent communication and customer support skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts and night shifts as per business requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a 24×7 support environment.
