Position Overview

CBTS is seeking an experienced Network Engineer L3 to join its enterprise network operations and security team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in network infrastructure, firewall administration, load balancing, cloud security, authentication technologies, and network access control frameworks.

This role requires advanced troubleshooting capabilities, technical leadership, and the ability to support complex enterprise networking environments while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
Support complex routing, switching, and network security environments.
Ensure network availability, reliability, and performance.
Firewall & Security Administration
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions.
Implement and maintain security policies and access controls.
Support intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Manage VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions.
Load Balancer Administration
Configure and manage F5 load balancing solutions.
Optimize application delivery and traffic distribution.
Troubleshoot performance and availability issues.
Cloud Security
Support network and security infrastructure across cloud platforms.
Implement cloud networking best practices and security controls.
Assist with hybrid cloud connectivity and secure access solutions.
Authentication & Access Management
Support enterprise authentication solutions.
Manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Support Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
Administer Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments.
Integrate authentication services with enterprise applications.
Network Access Control (NAC)
Implement and maintain NAC security frameworks.
Enforce endpoint compliance and network access policies.
Monitor and troubleshoot NAC-related issues.
Monitoring & Performance Management
Utilize network monitoring tools for proactive issue detection.
Analyze network traffic and performance metrics.
Perform root-cause analysis for network incidents.
Automation & Scripting
Develop scripts to automate network administration tasks.
Improve operational efficiency through automation.
Support infrastructure-as-code and automation initiatives where applicable.
Leadership & Mentoring
Provide technical leadership for complex network issues.
Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and documentation initiatives.

Required Experience
7–10 years of enterprise networking experience.
Experience supporting large-scale network environments.
Hands-on firewall and security administration experience.
Experience with authentication and access management technologies.
Exposure to cloud networking and cloud security architectures.
