B.E./B.Tech/AMIE Mechanical: Minimum 3 years
Diploma Mechanical: Minimum 6 years
Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts — Day/Night

Job Responsibilities
Plan and execute mechanical static equipment maintenance jobs.
Understand work packages, equipment drawings, and job requirements before execution.
Plan job sequences and identify critical-path activities to meet shutdown schedules.
Coordinate with contractors for timely execution and resource availability.
Coordinate issuance and collection of CPCL-supplied materials.
Ensure correct materials are used according to specifications.
Supervise and monitor work on refinery static equipment.
Prepare material requirement plans and coordinate with the Planning team.
Coordinate with Inspection, Manufacturing, CPCL Maintenance, and other refinery departments.
Maintain shift turnover logs, equipment monitoring charts, and daily progress reports.
Immediately identify and report safety violations and ensure compliance with refinery safety procedures.
Required Technical Experience
Experience in Refinery / Hydrocarbon / Petrochemical industries.
At least one M&I or Revamp shutdown experience in a refinery/petrochemical plant.
Strong knowledge of static equipment such as:
Furnaces/Heaters
Columns & Towers
Pressure Vessels
Heat Exchangers
Reactors
Piping
Specific experience working on Heaters is highly relevant.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work lists.
Experience in mechanical planning and field supervision.
Hydrocarbon plant maintenance experience is essential.
Codes & Software
ASTM, ANSI, API codes and standards.
MS Office for reporting and documentation.
Primavera — mandatory.
Familiarity with refinery safety procedures and CPCL rules/guidelines.
Qualifications
Option 1: B.E./B.Tech/AMIE in Mechanical Engineering + minimum 3 years relevant experience.
Option 2: Diploma in Engineering + minimum 6 years relevant experience.
Experience must be related to mechanical planning, supervision, refinery/petrochemical maintenance, or similar assignments.
Key Candidate Profile
Strong field coordination and contractor-management skills.
Able to work independently in a refinery environment.
Safety-focused with knowledge of refinery F&S and maintenance procedures.
Comfortable working 12-hour day/night shifts.
Good reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
