Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Machine Shop Operators for CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) Machines in a reputed Oil & Gas manufacturing company located in Sriperumbudur, Chennai. Candidates with hands-on experience in CNC VTL operations within the Oil & Gas industry are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor CNC VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) Machines.
Set up machines and perform machining operations as per production requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
Conduct in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
Make machine adjustments to maintain machining precision.
Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules.
Perform routine machine checks and support preventive maintenance activities.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to achieve manufacturing targets.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
ITI Machinist
Diploma
BE/B.Tech
Experience:
ITI Machinist: 8–13 years (Oil & Gas industry only)
Diploma: 7–12 years (Oil & Gas industry only)
Relevant experience in CNC VTL machining is mandatory.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
Required Skills
Experience operating CNC VTL machines.
Strong knowledge of machining processes and precision manufacturing.
Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
Understanding of quality control procedures and workplace safety.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
